What Is A Birth Doula?
A birth doula is a trained, compassionate support person who walks alongside you during pregnancy, labour, and birth. My role is not to replace your medical provider, but to support you — emotionally, physically, and mentally — as you prepare for and experience birth.
I’m here to listen without judgement, help you feel informed and confident in your choices, and offer steady reassurance when things feel overwhelming. During labour, I provide hands-on comfort, grounding presence, and continuous support so you never feel alone in the process.
At its heart, birth doula care is about holding space — for your questions, your emotions, your fears, and your strength. It’s about reminding you that your experience matters, and that you deserve to feel supported, respected, and empowered as you bring your baby into the world.
Doula Services
• 2 prenatal meetings (90 min)
• Continuous birth support (labor & delivery)
• 1 postpartum home visit (2 hrs) with breastfeeding check
• 1 virtual lactation follow-up
All from Basic, plus:
• 2 prenatal visits
• 2 postpartum visits (2 hrs each)
• 2 in-person lactation sessions (initial + follow-up)
All Standard, plus:
• Childbirth + breastfeeding education class
• 3 postpartum visits (days 1, 3, 7)
• Overnight / late-night support block
• Up to 3 additional lactation follow-ups
All Comprehensive, plus:
• Unlimited postpartum visits for first 2 weeks (within agreed hours)
• Daily check-ins first month
• Home help (light chores, meal prep)
• On-call lactation support (extended hours)
• Extended birth support if labor is prolonged
Breastfeeding Services & Childbirth Education

Latching & Loving Lactation Help
Includes:
Initial consultation (90–120 minutes) to assess feeding, answer questions, and develop a personalized plan.
Hands-on support with latch, positioning, and troubleshooting common breastfeeding challenges.
Written resources and guidance for ongoing support at home.
1 follow-up session (60–90 minutes, in-person or virtual) to check progress and adjust plan as needed.
Optional text/email support for quick questions for up to 1 week after your session.
Ideal for: New parents seeking confident, hands-on guidance to establish and maintain breastfeeding successfully.

Birth Prep & Empowerment Childbirth Education
Includes:
Classes can be offered individually or as a series covering topics such as:
Stages of labor
Comfort techniques, breathing, and relaxation
Birth planning & informed decision-making
Postpartum recovery and newborn basics
Q&A time for personalized guidance specific to your birth preferences and needs.
Optional handouts and resources for at-home reference.
Classes are ideal in-person for full engagement, but virtual options are available if needed.
Ideal for: Expecting parents who want knowledge, confidence, and practical skills to navigate birth with clarity and calm.
